Giving a charter, a private flight or a major event as a gift: how it works

Calice di spumante al tramonto sul mare

An object is forgotten, a day at sea is not. More and more people give an experience as a gift: a day charter for an anniversary, a helicopter flight for a birthday, a weekend on a boat for a milestone. Here is how it works with us.

The most popular ideas

  • A day on a yacht with lunch on board, in the recipient’s area.
  • A weekend or a week’s charter for a couple or a family.
  • A private dinner on a boat with the chef, at sunset.
  • A flight by helicopter along the coast or to the mountains.
  • A major event, such as the Monaco Grand Prix from a yacht or a day at Wimbledon.

How it works

  1. Tell us who the gift is for, the occasion and the budget you have in mind.
  2. We propose one or two experiences, with what is included.
  3. We set the dates with you, or let the recipient choose them within an agreed period.
  4. We send you a card to give, with a description of the experience.

If the dates are not yet decided

It often happens, especially with Christmas gifts. A period can be set, for example June or September, and the day chosen later, subject to availability. We tell you clearly at proposal stage, so the gift stays a surprise without any unpleasant surprises.

Our advice

For Christmas gifts, write to us by mid-December: we will have time to prepare everything calmly, card included.

A gift from a company

Companies also give experiences to clients and staff: a day on a boat for the team, an exclusive event for their best clients. We organise them from start to finish.

Ideas by occasion

  • Anniversary: a private dinner on a boat at sunset, just for two.
  • Milestone birthday: a day charter with friends and family, or a helicopter flight.
  • Graduation or milestone: a weekend on a boat in a dream destination.
  • Motorsport fans: the Grand Prix from the sea or from hospitality, or Ice Driving on the snow.
  • Tennis or sports fans: a day at Wimbledon or the Super Bowl.

How far ahead to organise

For a summer day charter a few weeks are enough, but for specific dates it is best to move earlier. For major events, such as the Monaco Grand Prix, months are often needed. If the gift is for Christmas and the experience is in summer, there is no rush: a period is set and the date chosen later.

Frequently asked questions

Can I give an experience without knowing the dates?

Yes, a period can be set and the date chosen later, subject to availability. We agree it at proposal stage.

Can I give just one part, for example the chef?

Yes. Every service can be given on its own, such as a private chef on the recipient’s own boat.

How do I receive the card?

We send it to you ready to give, with a description of the experience. We agree it together when we organise the gift.
