Balearics – Ibiza and Formentera
Ibiza and Formentera are separated by a stretch of sea just a few miles wide, and together they offer some of the clearest waters in the Mediterranean. By day, white beaches and hidden coves; in the evening, the sunsets of the west coast and Ibiza’s nightlife.
Formentera is best experienced from the sea: the Illetes and the islet of Espalmador are part of the Ses Salines Natural Park, protected for its posidonia meadows.
Departures are from the ports of Ibiza or Sant Antoni, a few minutes from the airport. With a few more days you can reach Mallorca.

The season runs from June to September. June and September have warm water and fewer boats; July and August are the liveliest months, both at sea and ashore.
